DArtz Studios was born from a simple belief — that every person deserves to see themselves the way those who love them see them. Powerful. Beautiful. Individual. Worthy of a frame.
The Story
I'm Tom — photographer, light-chaser, and relentless advocate for the idea that confidence isn't something you find. It's something you uncover. After decades shooting editorial and commercial work across Melbourne and Beyond, I've turned the lens toward something more personal, the people who never thought they belonged in front of a camera.
DArtz Studios opened its doors in Melbourne in 2015. Since then, I've had the privilege of working with hundreds of clients — from first-timers who arrived nervous and left transformed to athletes who wanted their dedication immortalised and artists who saw their body as the medium.
Every session is a collaboration. I bring the light, the space, and the vision. You bring yourself — exactly as you are.

The Studio
Located in Reservoir, Vic, DArtz Studios is a private space designed for intimacy and creativity. Natural light floods the main shooting area by day, dramatic artificial lighting takes over by night. The studio space is fully private and lends itself to a variety of different setups, if a larger or more specialized space is required (IE: Gym or Warehouse) we can also source that at extra cost.
